(More customer reviews)So like most people suggest, I did let the device run for a week before I went on vacation. I filled the reservoir with flakes, pellets, and bits of algae wafers. It was very easy to set the schedule for 8am and 8am feedings (it support 4 feeding times per day). And then I tested it with the manual button which is still very handy. I left for 3 weeks and all my fish were still happy and healthy. I would advise running the feeder for a week so you can determine how much food your fish need to consume per day and, therefore, how long one filled reservoir will last for you.
