(More customer reviews)Bought a LED light hood for my tank and the blue LED night is too dim at night. WIth this, it is much brighter for both day & night, so no need to use the blue LED night from hood. Even with the LED day light turn on, it does not affect the colors but only enhance it. If you have a filter, you may consider buying a hollow log so the bubble won't get suck up. Don't know if the bubble or the colors, fishes tended to stay away from it. If you're going to buy a air-stone or LED light light, buy this instead.
