(More customer reviews)THIS WOMDERFUL FILTER KEEPS WATER CLEAR AND CLEAN. This product eliminates the necessity of an ugly filter with dirty fish cotton inside of the filter sitting at the bottom on the fish tank. The filter is in the hood and you don't have to look at it sitting in the tank. Great idea to remove that eye sore! Plus the filter replacement pad is soooo easy to change, just take out the dirty one and replace it with a new/fresh one. Also the replacement filter pads can be bought in bulk on line for about $2.75 each with shipping including. All in all very inexpensive. Especially when compared to the pricey replacements for the Biube tank which is $10.50 plus per each filter replacementy. ouch....
Also worth noting is that the lighting is also in the hood and it is very strong and casts a nice light on the fish..no need for addittional lighting like a strip light. I will not use any other filter/ hood light as this product is fabulous. An excellent product and but. Good luck with you fish endeavours.....
