(More customer reviews)I use these fixtures for both my planted aquariums that needed enough moderate light for growing my plants. The Coralife T-5 fixtures use less energy and "heat" so do not have loud fans as many fixtures do. In addition you can double these fixtures up as they are slim. It's easy to find this particular fixture elsewhere but they usually come with a 18W 10,000k bulb and a 18W blue actinic bulb which is not optimal for growing live plants. (the actinic bulbs are good for growing corals in saltwater) This particular fixture comes with the 10,000k and a 6700k bulbs and is a perfect combo of bulb types for plants.
