(More customer reviews)This is a fine product for what it's good for. It is NOT really 'epoxy'. It does not have a gluing function. If you pit a small piece of the mix between two pieces of dry rock, even out of the aquarium, it will not 'glue' them together.
It is relatively quick setting and very easy to work with. It's difficult to explain how to use this product properly, so I'll try a diagram. We're assuming that you have two pieces of rock that you want to attach together.

In this case the 'e' is the 'epoxy' and the 'r' is the rock. The epoxy solidifies and holds the rock together through mechanical force, not a gluing function.
If have had no problems with using this in the aquarium, even with fish and delicate corals. As far as I can see, it's totally reef safe. It will cloud your water slightly and it will appear to have 'steam' coming off of it if you put uncured material into the water. It takes much longer for the material to cure in water than out of the water.
It dries a horrid pink coral... it's supposed to look like coraline algae... not even close. However, after 6-9 months, coraline and other material will cover the epoxy.
