(More customer reviews)I used parts from this kit to allow fine-tuning of the separate filters on my heavily planted 75 gallon community tank. My air pump has two outlets, and I used 2 of the "T" fittings to make a "equalizing bridge" between the two outlets. I then used 2 of the control valves to allow individual control of each of the filters. Completely closing either valve diverts air through the equalizing bridge to the other filter, preventing the pump from laboring.
I found no problem with quality of workmanship or materials used. The plastic chosen seems to be a non-brittle, slightly flexible type, similar to that used in Tupperware.
