Although this barley straw extract is marketed as an algae control product, to the company's credit nowhere on the label do the words "controls algae" appear. After two months of usage according to directions, this liquid had no effect on the algae in my pond.
The label does say that the product is "organically formulated to promote cleaner clearer water."
It didn't do that either.
