STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE THING, ITS PLAGUED WITH ISSUES!
I bought 2 of them, had them replaced with 2 DIFFERENT EBI setups and still had the SAME PROBLEMS ON ALL 4 OF THEM!! If you don't believe me read the forums!
1st. The Background COMES LOOSE since it is made of EXTREMELY buoyant foam and its not glued down very well. You will set your tank up and suddenly the background will come SHOOTING UP! I had this happen on 3 of my tanks! On one of the tanks it flew up so hard that it BROKE my glass lid and my light!
2ed. ALL 4 of my lights had their bulbs FAIL within 4 months (not counting the one SHATTERED by my background). They lasted between 2-4 months, and you HAVE to use fluval brand replacement bulbs.. NO OTHER BULBS WILL WORK! So you just get to keep buying a FAILING product!!
3rd. I have had 2 of my Internal filters fail! the magnetic pump impeller simply REFUSES to seat properly suddenly and will NOT create ANY water flow!
Another worry, the silicone sealing joint that connects the bottom to the sides of the tank is EXTREMELY flimsy and you can FEEL the bottom glass flexing if you touch it at all.
And a final note, the CO2 system is SO INADEQUATE that even when in FULL operation, it FAILS to provide enough Co2 to even REGISTER on a co2 test or indicator!STAY AWAY FROM THIS THING LIKE THE PLAGUE!! IT IS A COMPLETE OVER PRICED FAIL!!
