(More customer reviews)I'm not certain what the previous reviewer was reviewing but it couldn't have been this product because there is nothing resembling a rubber band in the product. It works well with the aqualifter pump to keep the pump clean. My only complaint is that I've never been able to find a replacement filter, you have to buy the whole thing again instead of just the fiber filter part. It can be cleaned but eventually you have to replace it by buying the whole thing again. Aqualifters are great and it is only prudent to use these filters for protecting them.
